School Health Care
The 10-bed School Health Centre was started is 2007 to take care of children falling sick. A full-time nurse was appointed to manage the Centre. Health checks are held every semester and de-worming carried out for all children every six months.
Children with haemoglobin count of less than 10 Hb are given a daily dose of iron-folic acid supplementation and those above 10 Hb are given the dose once a week.
