Rotary Project
The Rotary Project commenced in 2018. It is supported by the Rotary Club of Bombay Queens Necklace and the Rotary Club of College Park, USA. The grant supports the educational efforts and needs of GVET by setting up a biogas plant for cooking children’s meals, upgrading the school kitchen and dining hall with improved ventilation and light, installing kitchen equipment like idli maker, chapatti atta maker, wet spice grinder etc for improved food preparation.
The Project also supports vocational training for children and basic training in organic cultivation so children learn skills that nurture their roots.
The biggest focus of the project is capacity building for teachers to improve the quality of teaching-learning in Nareshwadi School to ensure children’s grades improve.
